  • The title seems to refer to Joey becoming a closer friend to Josh, helping him get his confidence back.
  • Diggie is mentioned in this episode.
  • This episode could be seen as similar to the I Didn't Do It episode, Lindy Breaks Garrett, because Maddie (Jasmine) is spending time with Diggie (Owen) whist Josh (Logan) is having feelings for her and Josh and Maddie (Jasmine and Logan) don't interact at all in the episode, possibly because it is too hard for him to be around her. However, Josh does mention Maddie, but Logan doesn't mention Jasmine.

  • Maddie is a minor character in this episode as she only appears for a couple of minutes at the beginning of the episode.
  • This episode focuses more on Andie and Dump Truck's relationship.
  • Josh speaks in a high or deep voice whenever he can't focus.
  • In the UK, the plot just mentions that Josh is very depressed ever since his split from Maddie and that Liv and Joey help him. It doesn't mention the plot about Andie's father.
  • Erik Estrada guest starred as Andie's father. He was also mentioned in a season 2 episode of Friends.
  • Joey references this episode in Ex-A-Rooney, when he says Josh hasn't taken his break up with Maddie, well.
  • Maddie and Liv do not interact in this episode, so the body doubles are incorrectly credited.

  • When Gemma first shouts "cut" and the bell rings, Josh puts his hand near his face as if to be annoyed since he can't focus, then when she is about to get off of her chair, it shows him doing that same gesture.
