Joseph Franklin Bragg (born July 20, 1996) is an American actor and comedian who portrayed Joey Rooney in the Disney Channel Original Series Liv and Maddie.

Biography

Early life

Joey Bragg is a 28-year-old wonder boy comic in the San Francisco Bay Area, now taking Hollywood by storm. Winning competitions all over the bay area, Joey recently made his Hollywood debut performing at The Improv Comedy Club, The Ice House, The Laugh Factory, Westside Comedy theater, and other places. Joey has recently opened for very high profile comedians like Tim Allen, Dane Cook, Jeffery Ross, Kyle Dunnigan, Mrs. Hughes, and "Last Comic Standing" Finalists Gina Yashere and Rich Vos, to name a few. He also has a cousin who does stand up comedy.  He grew up in Union City, California.

Career

He was cast in a leading role for the Disney Channel pilot Bits and Pieces. However, the show was not picked up for a pilot. Instead, Liv and Maddie took the place of Bits and Pieces, and the cast (including Joey) is mainly the same as originally planned. Joey Bragg starred in Nickelodeon's TV movie Fred 3: Camp Fred, as Fred's new friend, Magoo, in 2012. Joey was also tapped for the Disney XD show Gulliver Quinn, opposite Jon Heder, and can be seen in a viral Xbox video opposite Kevin Hart. He was cast as Joey Rooney in the Disney Channel show Liv and Maddie,
