Alyson is the mother of Jacob Mitchell and the widowed wife of Kevin Mitchell. She lived with her Amy in Stevens Point until she decided she would move to Hollywood with her husband Kevin Mitchell where she had eventually given birth to her son Jacob, Amy's nephew. Alyson is loved by her only child Jacob and she cherishes him very much. Just after her husband Kevin passed away she noticed Jacob falling apart and tried to help him through it. When word broke out that Jacob was getting the lead role in a movie Alyson was extremely proud of Jacob and told him just to think about how proud his father would've been. Later after Jacob's movie finished filming Alyson said goodbye to her son and sent him on his way to live with his aunt Amy. Alyson would later sell her house in Hollywood and move to Stevens Point and start working as the gym teacher at Ridgewood High.
